The Deaf Darts Organisation (DDO) is proud to announce that several established UK darts media platforms are now officially supporting and promoting our platform.
This marks another important step forward in raising the visibility of Deaf darts within the wider darts community.
Homepage Promotion Across Leading Darts Platforms
We are delighted to confirm that the DDO UK Open Championship is now featured across the following websites:
Darts501.com – Homepage slider graphic and tournament listing
Darts-UK.co.uk – Homepage slider graphic and tournament listing
Darts-Oche.com – Homepage listing and direct link to DDO
Darts01.com – Homepage listing and direct link to DDO
In addition, each site has updated its Disability Darts section to include information and links to the Deaf Darts Organisation.
This level of support from long-standing darts information platforms significantly increases awareness of structured Deaf tournaments and helps connect us with players who may not have previously known that a dedicated Deaf darts system exists.
Building Recognition for Deaf Darts
Disability darts has historically focused more on visible physical impairments. Deafness, being an “invisible” disability, is often overlooked in mainstream coverage.
The Deaf Darts Organisation was established to change that — to create structured tournaments, ranking systems, and professional standards that provide Deaf players with equal visibility and opportunity.
Although the organisation was only established last year, our growth has been rapid. With engagement from over 52 countries and international Deaf players competing within our structure, the momentum continues to build.
Support from respected darts websites strengthens our mission:
To increase recognition
To improve accessibility
To promote inclusion
To create pathways from grassroots to major events

UK Open Championship – 6–7 March 2026
Our upcoming UK Open Championship at Bradmoor Farm represents a key milestone in the DDO calendar. Held on the same weekend as the PDC UK Open, the event symbolises our belief that Deaf players belong within the same national darts conversation.
The event will feature structured Men’s and Ladies’ competitions and continues our commitment to delivering professional, organised, and inclusive tournaments.
Thank You for the Support
We would like to express our sincere thanks for the platform visibility and coverage. Exposure, education, and awareness are powerful tools in helping Deaf darts reach new audiences.
This is only the beginning.
As we continue progressing toward future international events — including the European Masters and long-term ambitions for a World Deaf Darts Championship — we remain focused on steady, sustainable growth.
The darts world is taking notice — and Deaf darts is here to stay.
