ELIGIBILITY!

Participation in DDO tournaments is open to players who meet the Deaf eligibility criteria, ensuring fair and inclusive competition within the Deaf darts community.

HEARING REQUIREMENT

To compete in DDO tournaments, players must have a confirmed hearing loss of 55dB or greater in their better ear, verified through a certified hearing assessment. This requirement ensures fair competition and aligns with recognised Deaf sporting standards.

 

Players must complete the official DDO Audiogram Form and have it signed and stamped by a registered Hearing Centre or Audiologist. The completed form must then be submitted to the DDO for approval before entering any ranking or championship events.

MEDICAL CONFIRMATION

All players are required to:

 

  • Complete the official DDO Audiogram Form

  • Attend a registered Hearing Centre / Audiologist

  • Have the form signed and stamped by a qualified professional

  • Provide supporting audiogram documentation (if requested)

 

Once completed, forms must be submitted by email to the Deaf Darts Organisation for review and approval prior to competing.

APPROVAL PROCESS

Eligibility documentation will be reviewed confidentially by the DDO.

Players will receive confirmation once approved and cleared to enter ranking and championship events.
